     Hanoi

Pan Pacific Hanoi is a storied landmark property at the early years of Hanoi's hospitality developments - when it was opened close to 20 years ago it was one of Hanoi's tallest hotels and  also one of its first foreign brands to penetrate the market. After two rebranding the hotel is still sitting pretty on one of the best locations in the city, raised right before the picturesque West Lake and literally minutes from all the city's capital attractions. The Pan Pacific Hanoi sits squarely on real estate gold and if the group plays it right with redevelopment plans, there is much potential for this being the Pan Pacific property to watch in the region.

While at Pan Pacific Hanoi,
why don't you ...

  • Opt for a stay at one of its Lakeview rooms with views of the picturesque West Lake that are spacious and tastefully furnished.

  • Stay on its club floors that come with access to the Pacific Club that is true to the Pan Pacific branding one of the most expediently run club lounges in the country.

  • Dine at Ming, one of the city's most established and popular Chinese fine dining restaurant that serves a good selection of Cantonese dim sums, roasts and classics. The flavours here may be a bit light for foreigners but frankly in Hanoi, everything is light.

  • A sunset cocktail at Summit Bar would be a splendid idea if aerial conditions are good. Be sure to pick a table pointed towards the west outside.

  • The presidential suite is newly renovated and tastefully appointed with crisp modern accents and grand lake views. At over 2000 square feet, rates begin from US$1700, which makes a booking of this suite an economical splurge.
