Even as the name Medici Kitchen is a dead giveaway for the culinary direction of this Italian diner, one is still bemused with dinner entertainment provided by tenors in full tuxedos belting out 3 Tenors classics.
Mediocre service with no interest to go that extra mile for guest was exacerbated by mosquitoes in the lobby and intermittent black-out over our visit.
The broody air emanating from the building's severe palette of brown, black and white succeeds to further reinforce an original design concept but does little to distract from the other shortcomings of a diminutive establishment raised at an inconvenient spot within the city's downtown maze of endless sois.
