Parkroyal on Pickering

Parkroyal on Pickering is an architectural marvel that mirrors the biblical hanging garden in the urban heart of Singapore. A veritable breathing and living building, the hotel was planted with environmentally friendly installations like all buildings should.

Gourmet & Wellness +

Lime is the solo all-day diner that serves three buffets and an afternoon tea set daily. The lunch menu offers some delicious continental options like Alaskan black cod and lobster risotto as well as local fares like Char Kway Teow, and even an elevated version of Laksa embellished with Maine lobster christened as 'Luxe-sa'. The wagyu sirloin is remarkably good in terms of pricing and quality

Service + +

Besides the staff at Orchid Lounge who make commendable effort to delight guests with cheerful dispositions and heavenly cocktails, service here is otherwise staid and perfunctory. Mini-bar is mechanically locked, somewhat diminishing the welcome.

Design + + +

Design firm WOHA imbues the building with a resort milieu replete with water features and cascading greens on the vertical front. The rooms are bright and contemporary, with city views that are framed by tropical trees and shrubs that collectively make up this marvelous sky garden. In plain view of a spectacle so phenomenally futuristic yet primal, we wish in earnest that more green buildings can be raised just as lush and regal.
