Kuala Lumpur
Kuala Lumpur over the last 10 years have been developing at light speed and glitzy neighbourhoods like the Pavilion stretch are now adding to the upmarket appeal of the city. Part of the mall is the Pavilion Hotel managed by the Banyan Tree Group, and unlike its landmark sister hotel just across the road, the Pavilion hotel takes on a more down to earth stance on luxury, with ample sized rooms bathed in classical tones set in the customary layouts. The stock photos of the rooms may look somewhat staid but they really are quite comely. Some of the suites are invested with inspiring views, and in terms of location this hotel is really hard to beat. The FnB offerings here also do not disappoint, with a sterling fine dining Chinese and an all day restaurant dishing out comforting international and Malaysian cuisine well-matched with the traveller's palate.
While at Pavilion Hotel Kuala Lumpur
why don't you ...

Jade Pavilion is a relative newcomer to the Chinese fine dining scene in the city and does not disappoint with its innovative renditions on Cantonese classics that are well-loved in this city. The sweet and sour chicken is a delicious substitute for the usual pork that is woefully absent in most Malaysian high-end Chinese restaurants.

The Club Lounge here is spacious, comfortable and well managed by attentive staff. The culinary presentation here is also good persuasion for one to opt for lounge benefits while in-house.
-
The Presidential Suite is truly a joy to inhabit with creature comforts fit for royalty and views that are truly tantalising.

The hotel may not have wellness options under its roof but The Banyan Tree Spa is just minutes away and the pampering rituals there are truly grand. Concierge will happily help with reservations.
